Mary O'Loughlin

BSc Couns Psych MIACP
Core Lecturer

Mary holds an Honours Degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy from Middlesex University. She also has an Advanced Certificate in CBT and specialises in couples counselling having extensive experience in this area. She has been tutoring in PCI college since 2006 and has specialized training in areas of sexuality and family therapy. Mary is also a Couples Counsellor and Supervisor with Accord and the Rape Crisis Centre. Mary has completed Modules at Masters Level in DCU Sexuality and Psychodynamics. She is a Qualified Mediator with Friary Law, Dublin.


Jean Notaro

BSc (Hons) Counselling & Psych MIACP.  Professional Certificate in CBT.
Core Lecturer


Jean works as a core tutor with PCI College and is also a tutor on the PCI Foundation Course.  She is in private practice at The Dodsboro Clinic in Lucan, a busy GP surgery and clinic. Jean is an Advanced Level Accredited Schema Therapist, Trainer and Supervisor.


Eilish McGuinness

BSc. (Hons.) Couns./Psych., MIACP
Core Lecturer


Eilish is a senior lecturer with PCI College and holds a First Class BSc (Hons) Degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy from Middlesex University.  She is an accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Therapy (IACP), and the International Society of Schema Therapists (ISST).  Eilish was one of the first in Ireland to train as an Advanced Accredited Schema Therapist, Supervisor and Trainer.  Eilish is actively involved as a committee member of the Schema Therapy Association of Ireland (STAI) which was founded in 2014 with other qualified ISST colleagues interested in promoting ST in this country.   She runs a busy private practice in Ashbourne, Co. Meath working from an integrative model; but, specifically using Schema Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.  She supervises and trains in Schema Therapy as well as delivering Mental Health Training to corporate organisations.  She holds further qualifications in Mindfulness and Sexual Compulsive Behaviour Disorders.  


 


Clare Burke

BSc Couns Psych; Cert Child/Adolescent Psychodynamic Psychotherapy; MIACP
Core Lecturer


Clare works as a counsellor, supervisor and PCI College lecturer. Clare joined PCI College in 2008 and lectures on the sexuality, counselling skills and pastoral /spiritual counselling modules.  She also supervises students completing their thesis and case study assignments.  Clare maintains a private practice in counselling and supervision.  Clare’s approach to counselling and supervision incorporates spiritual and person-centred perspectives. She works in private practice in Newbridge, Co. Kildare and in the Edenderry Medical Centre, Co. Offaly.
