PCI College is delighted to announce Rihanna Movahed as the recipient of the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusivity (EDI) Bursary for the 2026 academic year.
As part of our ongoing commitment to creating a more representative and inclusive student body, the EDI Bursary was developed to break down barriers to education. The scheme provides a 50% reduction in learner tuition fees to candidates who self-identify as being from a minority group within the counselling and psychotherapy profession in Ireland. Â
Rihanna, who is joining the BSc (Hons) Counselling and Psychotherapy programme at our Dublin City location, stood out through her strong motivation, deep self-awareness, and clear vision for the future of mental health support.Â
Her application highlighted the importance of culturally aware mental health support, particularly in building trust and creating safe spaces for underrepresented communities. Her commitment aligns closely with our goal of serving the wider societal need for inclusive mental healthcare.
